Aaron Judge is back in the Yankees’ starting lineup for Monday afternoon’s makeup game with the Twins, not even 18 hours after he left Sunday’s Subway Series finale due to dizziness.

According to manager Aaron Boone, Judge felt a little dizzy during his first at-bat Sunday – the trainers came out and gave him some eye drops – but even though he left the game two innings later, he was already feeling better by the time the game ended around midnight.

“He’s doing pretty good, so hopefully we’ll be in a good spot for tomorrow, just dealing with some dizziness,” Boone said after Sunday’s loss. “The trainers were with him all game and when I just spoke with them, they said he was feeling good.”

Judge was the same Monday morning when the skipper talked to him, so he was penciled into the lineup, with Boone hopeful the symptoms wouldn’t recur once Judge got warm.

“I’m hopeful it’s behind him. I still want to see him here and get him moving around and make sure we’re good to go, but as of this morning, he was feeling good to go,” Boone said Monday morning. “Hopefully all checks out when he gets here and moves around.”
