Comic book fans have long been lobbying for Poison Ivy to get a proper depiction in live-action and while Uma Thurman did a stupendous portrayal of the character in 1997's Batman & Robin, the film's negative fan and critical reception has obviously overshadowed her performance. Even Harley Quinn actress Margot Robbie has expressed her desire for Warner Bros. to bring Pamela Isley to the DCEU and judging by the latest developments, she might actually get what she's wishing for soon.

Megan Fox's assistant Madison Bigos fueled major speculation on social media that the actress is in the running to become the DC Extended Universe's Poison Ivy. It all began when Bigos took to her Instagram stories to post an image of the Jennifer Body and TMNT actress which included an intriguing caption about them expecting a call from a studio regarding what seems to be a casting call for the iconic Batman villain.

After her post caught the attention of DCEU fans, Bigos suspiciously took it down but of course, it was a little too late because the post spread like wildfire all over social media. The real question is, does it have something to do with Megan's potential casting, or was it just a random post? I guess we'll find out soon.

With rumors circulating over the last couple of months that Warner Bros. will be reviving their canned Gotham City Sirens project, it makes total sense for the studio to begin casting Pamela Isley. However, James Gunn has previously dismissed rumors linking him to the film but considering The Suicide Squad was a critical hit, it wouldn't be surprising if he returned to helm that project.

Now, if you'd ask me how I feel about Fox potentially portraying the character in live-action, I gotta say, she has the right amount of charisma and sultriness that would make her a believable Poison Ivy.

Meanwhile, The Suicide Squad is streaming on HBO Max.
