Primark, the Irish value fashion chain which recently entered the Philadelphia market with stores in Willow Grove Park Mall and King of Prussia Mall, is continuing its local expansion with a new location in Philadelphia, writes Mark Faithfull for Forbes.

The Philadelphia store that is expected to open later this month in the Fashion District Philadelphia shopping mall will be the retailer’s 13th store in the United States overall and the third one in Pennsylvania.

“We are delighted to welcome Philadelphians to our latest North East location in the U.S., bringing Primark’s unique formula of quality fashion, beauty, and homeware with an amazing price tag,” said Primark U.S. president Andy Stewart.“

“The Philly Fashion District store will mark another important milestone in our ongoing expansion in the U.S. and bringing our ‘Amazing Fashion at Amazing Prices’ to more and more customers,” he points out.

The shopping mecca first entered the U.S. market in 2015.

At first, it focused on the North-East of the U.S. but soon determined that the Philadelphia region also had a lot of potential.

Based on this outlook it decided to introduce two stores in Montgomery County.
