Telfar Clemens established a brand motto of, “Not for you — for Everyone,” very early on. From the affordable price points of its cult accessories to reworking the preorder purchase model to ensure that anyone who wants to get their hands on a bag can, the New York–based brand is all about offering access in ways that are often unheard of in fashion. Taking this concept to the next level, the designer announced in a press conference-style preview that the team is launching not one but two new channels (to be downloaded on Apple TV, Roku, and other streaming services) to turn its cult following into an inspired community.

Yesterday at New York’s Seaport, Pier 17, the brand presented the new collection for spring/summer 2022, which came complete with the news that Telfar TV would be dropping the same day. Clemens hates the word content, so the team launched in hopes that fans will get a chance to see the new venture unfold in real time and be part of the process as well. Viewers will be able to submit their own videos to the site with the chance of being featured on the broadcast, and those who do may receive a free bag in the process. According to the brand, Telfar wants to give its band of creatives a platform to do their thing without having to renounce ownership of their ideas.

Designer and founder Telfar Clemens debuts the brand’s new duffel tote.

The first channel—Telfar.TV—will be your go-to destination for all things “drip” related. Yes, a drip not a drop. The difference? A drip is a bot-free, spring-of-the-moment release that’s available through a very niche QR code in the streaming app. This updated shopping model will be the only way that shoppers can get their hand on the brand’s newest duffel silhouette. The second channel, FTV, was created in partnership with film collective Ummah Chroma and Random Acts of Flyness director Terence Nance.

Whether you want to showcase your talents on the brand’s new streaming channel or prefer to enjoy the creativity of others, head over to Telfar.tv for information on how to get started.
