The new NBA season is quickly approaching, and that means the release of a new edition of NBA 2K. NBA 2K22 dropped last week, and the Nets’ new-look roster fared very well in the latest rating process.
The Nets have one of the best rosters in the game, with an average overall rating of 78.2 from top to bottom, good for fourth in the league behind the Clippers, Suns and Lakers. The Nets’ top end, however, is the best in the game, with the Big Three all earning ratings in the 90s.
Here is the overall rating of every Nets player at the launch of NBA 2K22. The 2K team updates ratings throughout the year to reflect player performance, so Nets rookies Cameron Thomas and Day’Ron Sharpe will be hoping to climb into the mid-70s as the year progresses, while Kevin Durant could slide toward the 99 overall that LeBron James says he deserves.
Kevin Durant: 96
Durant is an unstoppable offensive force in 2K22, and he’s one of the most lethal outside threats in the league, with a 3-point rating of 89.
James Harden: 94
Harden received the same overall rating as Luka Doncic and Damian Lillard in 2K22.
Kyrie Irving: 91
Irving has the 12th-highest overall rating in the game, tied with Heat star Jimmy Butler.
LaMarcus Aldridge: 79
Aldridge just cracked the top-100 overall with his 79 overall rating, tied with many other players at 91st.
Joe Harris: 79
Harris is one of only three top-100 players with a 90+ 3-point rating, behind Klay Thompson (95 3-point rating) and Steph Curry (99).
