Minor spoilers ahead.

All is not well in Tranquilum.

The guests at the mysterious luxury wellness resort—aka the stomping grounds for Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers—came for healing and transformation, but what they got were unnerving drug trips under a suspicious guru (Nicole Kidman’s Masha). And, as we witnessed in the last episode, the hallucinations are only getting more intense.

In a new clip for episode 7, out Wednesday, romance author Frances (Melissa McCarthy) has another delusion, this time involving her nemesis-turned-new love, Tony (Bobby Cannavale). Fresh off confessing their feelings for each other and engaging in a Rihanna-soundtracked makeout session, the duo are feeling the effects of their microdosing treatment more deeply.

“I’m just feeling very odd,” Frances says. “And I don’t mean just high, I mean like very, very weird, in a new kind of way.” Tony, too, says he feels “tingly.”

Speaking to young lovers Jessica (Samara Weaving) and Ben (Melvin Gregg), Frances admits that she’s starting to see herself headless—something she thinks stems from the visions she used to have as a child while on migraine medication. When Tony moves in to comfort her, things get even weirder. He proposes they get out of Tranquilum and then transforms into a wigged and bare-chested Fabio figure, reciting romantic lines from Frances’ first book back to her. “I want to wake up beside you every morning, fall asleep beside you every night. I want to know you, all of you,” he says.

At first, she’s taken aback, but Frances is quickly moved. She takes Tony’s hand, holds it against her chest, and tells him “a thousand times yes” while he looks at her in confusion. “Why are you holding my hand?” he asks. Realizing she’s been duped by her hallucinations again, she lets him go. Can their newfound fling survive under the influence? Only time will tell.
