After one of the more dramatic summers we’ve seen in recent years, Aaron Rodgers returned to the Green Bay Packers and all seemed like status quo again (until next summer).
But his 2021 debut was anything but MVP-like.
He tossed two interceptions and totaled just 133 yards passing on 15-of-28 attempts. The Packers got trounced by Jameis Winston and the New Orleans Saints 38-3 and Twitter piled on Rodgers as he was eventually benched.
That included jokes about his postgame fashions, in which he slicked back his hair and wore a simple jacket over a white t-shirt look. That led to lots of memes:
