I think one thing’s pretty clear: if you watch TV at anytime, you’re bound to see some sort of Olive Garden ad or commercial. And boy do they make their food look hella good; however, whenever you dine there, it actually does look like that for the most part (for a change)!

While we won’t be discussing main courses (coming later) quite yet, we’re going to dive into the world of appetizers, something that everyone knows, loves, and eats all the time. Most of the app selections over at Olive Garden are fried, so if you’re on a diet, just stick to the endless salad and a cup of soup for your own personal choice!

For the purpose of today, we’re going to exclude the soup, salad, and (super delicious and irresistible) breadsticks, because we just already know that they’re good.

What are your favorite appetizers over at Olive Garden!?

1. Lasagna Frita

Price: $9.99

Item Description:

"“Fried parmesan-breaded lasagna, topped with parmesan cheese and meat sauce, with creamy alfredo.”"

First of all, not only is this fried and stuffed lasagna pieces, but it comes with meat sauce on top and alfredo sauce underneath it all; therefore, you’re getting the best of both worlds, all sorts of flavors in your mouth, and overall a deliciously flavorful dinnertime.

2. Toasted Ravioli

Price: $8.49

Item Description:

"“Lightly fried ravioli filled with seasoned beef. Served with marinara sauce.”"

Toasted ravs are such a timeless classic of an appetizer. In my personal opinion, they taste better stuffed with some sort of cheese (which is how it’s offered at most pizza joints); however, meat-filled ones are still just as delicious. An Italian place that doesn’t serve these, isn’t Italian at all.

3. Calamari

Price: $10.79

Item Description:

"“Tender calamari, lightly breaded and fried. Served with marinara sauce and spicy ranch.”"

Yet another timeless classic of an appetizer. Some places serve it grilled as well, but just skip that and get it fried (so much better, seriously). While cocktail sauce is great with it, my personal faves are regular and classic marinara sauce, as well as some sort of sweet chili dip as well. Olive Garden’s comes with spicy ranch – after my own heart, so thank you, Olive Garden. Love you!

4. Spinach-Artichoke Dip

Price: $9.79

Item Description:

"“A blend of spinach, artichokes, and five cheeses served warm with flatbread crisps, tossed with parmesan and garlic salt.”"

This particular type of appetizer is typically served at just about the majority of sit-down restaurants that there are out there. I love a good creamy, cheesy dip, so let’s be honest, anytime that this is served at a party, at a restaurant, etc., I am so totally in. Thoughts?

5. Stuffed Ziti Frita

Price: $7.49

Item Description:

"“Crispy fried ziti filled with five cheeses. Served with alfredo and marinara dipping sauces.”"

Ever heard of those fried pasta chips made famous through TikTok? Yeah, me too. And I’ve made them, and I love them. I can imagine that these basically taste like those, except for a tad bit of a textural difference with them being stuffed with cheese. Plus, it’s served with alfredo and marinara sauce….! How can these sound bad?! I’ll wait….

Other Appetizers on their menu: Fried Mozzarella (their version of Mozzarella Sticks) and Classic Shrimp Scampi Frita (their version of Fried Shrimp)
