Patrick Mahomes has made a career of throwing long touchdown passes to Tyreek Hill. How the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback pulled off his latest excursion was nothing short of spectacular.

With the Chiefs trailing the Cleveland Browns by nine points in the fourth quarter, Mahomes stepped up in the pocket and rolled to his right, looking downfield the entire time. Mahomes was being chased by Jordan Elliott when he heaved the football down field on the run. Somehow, Hill adjusted his route with John Johnson covering him, made the catch, and easily scored a 75-yard touchdown that ignited the Chiefs offense to a 33-29 victory.

The ball traveled 50 yards in the air, and Mahomes could only see one part of Hill's body. Certainly the bright yellow gloves Hill wears played a role.

"I joked to Tyreek that I saw his little hand just pop up like this and I was like 'If I just throw it far enough,'" Mahomes said after the victory with a smile. "And so, I didn't throw it far enough, but he adjusted to make the catch and once he's in space it's a touchdown."

Hill, who finished with 11 catches for 197 yards and a score in the game, just smiled at what Mahomes said to him.

"Yeah, it is Patrick Mahomes being Patrick Mahomes," Hill said. "I was like bro, come on man, but I was able to make a play for the team when he gave me the ball."

The 75-yard touchdown was the 10th touchdown of 70+ yards in Hill's career (six seasons), tied for the fifth-most in NFL history. Only Devin hester (14), Ollie Matson (13), Bobby Mitchell (12), and Dante Hall (11) have more. This was Hill's third game with 10 receptions, 190 yards, and a receiving touchdown -- tied for the second most in NFL history.

Hill runs downfield and Mahomes finds him. Another time a big play between the two sparked a Chiefs victory.

"He's really good at adjusting to the ball, he's world class," Mahomes said. "If it's not his speed, that's probably the best thing he does is adjusting when the ball is in the air. I think it's kind of this thing where if he gets past you, you're trying to get there with everything you have so DB was running as hard as he could because if I threw a good ball, he probably would've went right over the top and he was able to adjust and make a play."
