EastEnders' Kellie Bright announces birth of third child

Congratulations are in order for EastEnders star Kellie Bright, who has welcomed her third child into the world.

The Linda Carter actress already has two kids, 9-year-old Freddy and 4-year-old Gene, with husband Paul Stocker. Now their family has gotten even bigger.

"We're thrilled to announce the safe arrival of the latest addition to our family," the star told OK! "Mum and baby are doing well."

The couple underwent IVF again – their son Gene was also conceived via IVF a few years ago. Kellie got pregnant using the final of three frozen embryos, and stated it was her "last chance of a pregnancy" as she wouldn't go through the process again.

Speaking about the moment when she found out she was expecting again, Kellie said: "I was so shocked and thrilled, I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"I ran downstairs to Paul. I just stood crying – really crying – and he couldn't understand a word I was saying! It took my breath away.

"I knew it was my last chance, so the fact it was a positive was so unbelievably wonderful. A truly wonderful, crazy life moment."

In a case of brilliant timing, next week will also see Kellie's EastEnders character Linda go into labour, although this fictional birth will be a lot more dramatic.

Linda will start experiencing contractions while being confronted by Jack Branning, who might have discovered that Linda is pregnant with Max's child, even though she and Mick are saying that it's theirs. Max's partner Rainie is also very suspicious of them.

Will Linda's labour go okay, and will the truth be revealed? You'll just have to tune in and find out.
