Jungle Cruise India Release Date Announced
Disney’s Jungle Cruise had released in the US back in July 2021. The movie is finally releasing in Indian theaters later this month.
Jungle Cruise will be releasing in Indian theaters on September 24 in four languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Inspired by the popular Disneyland ride, Jungle Cruise is adventurous journey down the Amazon with skipper Frank Wolff and researcher Dr. Lily Houghton. The movie is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and it stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Edgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons and Paul Giamatti. Jungle Cruise has already earned over $100 million at the US box office.
Disney has already greenlit Jungle Cruise sequel, where Johnson and Blunt will reprise their roles as Frank Wolff and Dr. Lily Houghton respectively. Director Collet-Serra and co-writer Michael Green are expected to return for the sequel alongside much of the same crew.
As movie theaters in many parts of India have reopened, many studios have lined up theatrical release dates for their tentpole movies. Warner Bros. and NBCUniversal has recently released much-awaited movies like F9, Old, Mortal Kombat, The Suicide Squad, and more. Along with these, movies like No Time To Die and Eternals are set to release in Indian theaters in the coming weeks. No Time To Die will release in India alongside the UK on September 30 and Marvel’s Eternals is set to release on November 5.
