For pretty much the entire offseason, drama defined Aaron Rodgers’ relationship with the Green Bay Packers. Coming off a second consecutive loss in the NFC Championship Game, Rodgers seemingly requested a trade during the spring.

While the situation was settled for the short term leading up to Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints, it became apparent that things were not great between the reigning NFL MVP and his organization.

That come out in droves Sunday with Green Bay putting up an absolutely pathetic performance against the Saints in Jacksonville.

Aaron Rodgers and Co. found themselves down 31-3 early in the fourth quarter. At that point, Rodgers had completed 15-of-27 passes for 133 yards with two interceptions. Remember, he threw all of five interceptions compared to 48 touchdown passes a season ago.

On the other side, Jameis Winston turned in a stellar outing with five touchdowns against zero interceptions for the Saints in replacing the recently retired Drew Brees. The end result was a brutal 38-3 loss for the Packers with Rodgers watching from the bench as Jordan Love finished the game. Just think about the backstories there.

Either way, this was the talk of the football world Sunday afternoon.
