SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — One person has been arrested after discharging a firearm into a crowd of people at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City, officials said.
The incident happened at around 3 p.m. Sunday.
According to probable cause documents, Perez Patrocino, 19, has been arrested and booked in Salt Lake County Jail.
Police said there were no known gunshot victims or injuries.
The park will remain open while investigations continue, they said.
"We want to thank all of the witnesses who provided fast and detailed information to our officers, which allowed them to make the arrest," officials with the Salt Lake City Police Department stated in a social post.
