Groton voters should back David McBride, a top-quality candidate

Voters in the upcoming Groton Democratic primary have the opportunity to select candidates for the position of town councilor. I would like to offer a personal endorsement of one of those candidates I believe is more than qualified. That candidate is David McBride.

Dave is a former St. Bernard High School student and football player, where I taught. Since high school, Dave has gone on and earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance, and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from Seton Hall University.

Dave’s experience includes serving as the director of Finance for the City of New London. He also has experience serving as the executive director of Thames River Innovation Places, Inc.; director of Finance for the Mohegan Tribe; treasurer and past president of the Borough of Groton Long Point, and founder and vice president of the James A. Greenleaf Jr. Memorial Trust Fund.

Dave McBride presents to Groton Democratic voters a chance to select a candidate who has all the credentials necessary to be a more than viable candidate for council. I would most heartily endorse him and would solicit for him your consideration.

    Arthur Lamoureux Jr.

    New London
