Please see below for a timeline of the injury updates from throughout the Broncos' Week 1 game against the Giants.

4:11 p.m. MT: Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is under evaluation for a lower-leg injury. Shortly after making a 20-yard catch and being tackled, Jeudy reacted in clear pain as he clutched his ankle, which the defender landed on during the tackle. Jeudy was later carted off the field.

4:20 p.m. MT: Jeudy has been ruled out for the rest of the game.

POSTGAME UPDATE: After Sunday's game, Head Coach Vic Fangio provided an update on Jeudy's status that may allow Broncos fans to breathe a bit easier. While noting that the diagnosis could change, Fangio said that he was told that Jeudy suffered a high ankle sprain.

"All I know is that right now they're saying it's a high ankle sprain," Fangio said. "But you guys [media members] know how that goes. That could change. But that's what I'm being told."

Fangio said that Jeudy will undergo an MRI for further evaluation.

Despite leaving the game in the third quarter, Jeudy was the Broncos' leading receiver with six receptions for 72 yards. While the Broncos hung on for the win, his teammates said they're anxious for his return.

"I talked to Jerry briefly," Bridgewater said. "He means a lot to this offense. You watch him; he's creating separation in the pass game, he's making tough catches across the middle, he's getting open for us on third downs — different things. So, he's a guy who means a lot to this offense, a lot to this team. And we're going to continue to pray for him and can't wait to get him back."

Denver was always without another young leader on the other side of the ball, as OLB Bradley Chubb was inactive for the game. After the game, Fangio also gave an update on Chubb's status.

"Early in the week, I thought he was going to play," Fangio said. "Everybody did. But his ankle never really improved much during the week. So hopefully he'll be back here at some point soon. But we'll see."
