This 2005 Jennifer Lopez Drama Just Became the #3 Movie on Netflix

In the trailer, we learn that Jean's husband has died and she is on the run from something in her past. “Einar, please. I'd just like to earn enough to get us out of here,” she says to Redford's character in the clip. But during her time there, Einar starts to learn some upsetting truths, and their relationship will be put to the test.

Along with Lopez, Redford and Freeman, the movie features stars like Josh Lucas (A Beautiful Mind), Camryn Manheim (The Practice), Damian Lewis (Homeland) and Becca Gardner (What Ever Happened to Alice).

An Unfinished Life was directed by Lasse Hallström, who, at the time, already had multiple classics under his belt like What's Eating Gilbert Grape, The Cider House Rules and Chocolat. The screenplay was written by the wife of the source material's author, Virginia Korus Spragg.

If we can take our eyes off of those red carpet photos of Bennifer for long enough, then we will definitely be revisiting this movie.
