PALM HARBOR, FL. – Fire crews from East Lake Fire Rescue and Palm Harbor Fire Rescue were on the scene of a home that was struck by lightning Sunday.
According to sources, a duplex home was struck by lightning on Sunday, causing a fire in a home on Phlox Drive.
A homeowner in the neighborhood told The Free Press, “My neighbor’s house was hit by lightning and my best friend’s home is on fire next door. They had to cut the roof, but everyone is out of the homes.”
