COVID-19 vaccination cards are now one of the most important forms of documentation you can own, especially in light of the sweeping new mandates for 100 million Americans.

Employers, concert venues and restaurants are beginning to require proof of vaccination, which means keeping your vaccination card safe and available is important.

You can even get free doughnuts all year long at Krispy Kreme when you show a valid COVID-19 vaccination card at any of the company’s U.S. shops.

To make sure you always have your COVID-19 vaccination card on hand, below is a list of ways to store it, both via hard-copy and digitally.

Card holders

If you prefer carrying a hard copy of your COVID-19 vaccination card versus a digital version, there are plenty of card holder options to help avoid misplacing it.

Docket

The CDC-approved app allows you to access and download your COVID-19 vaccination record if you have an email or phone number on file with the New Jersey Immunization Information System. You can also share an account with family members.

You can download the app on Google Play or Apple’s app store.

Walmart

The big-box retailer announced you can access a digital record of your COVID-19 vaccination card through your Walmart or Sam’s Club pharmacy account by requesting a QR code.

Samsung Pay

The tech giant partnered with CommonHealth to provide digital storage for your COVID-19 vaccination card via the Samsung payment app

To store, you have to download the CommonHealth app from the Google Play store, and then add your “SMART Health Card” to load your vaccine record. Once loaded, click the “Samsung Pay” button to add your record to the Samsung Pay app, then click “OK” on the confirmation screen.

To access, click the “COVID-19 Vaccine pass” button on the Samsung Pay home screen and click the QR code symbol.
