Hamilton, NY - The Hofstra volleyball team saw its three-match win streak come to an end this afternoon as the Pride was defeated by Princeton in three sets at the Ellis Rowland Memorial Tournament at Colgate.
Graduate student
Ana Martinovic had 13 kills and six digs for Hofstra, which fell to 6-4 with the loss. Princeton improved to 4-2 and has won three straight matches. The Tigers won by set scores of 25-15, 25-10, and 25-23.
Freshman
Florencia Wolkowyski added nine kills for the Pride, which also got 20 assists from freshman
Beatriz Alves and 18 digs from freshman
Chiara Cucco.
Elena Montgomery led all players in the match with 19 kills for Princeton.
Hofstra closes play at the tournament with a 5:30 p.m. match against Colgate.
NOTES
- Hofstra is 8-4 all-time against Princeton. This year's meeting was the first since 2015.
