Ricardo Pepi’s 12th goal on the season wasn’t enough for FC Dallas on Saturday night as they tied the San Jose Earthquakes 1-1.
The draw continued a run of poor form at home for FC Dallas as they’ve now gone winless in their last three games at Toyota Stadium.
San Jose got on top early thanks to an unfortunate penalty kick given up in the fifth minute by Matt Hedges. Oswaldo Alanís stepped up to the spot and slotted it home past Dallas keeper Phelipe.
Dallas began chasing the game from there and has several chances in the first half to tie the game.
