Through 3 Quarters

After a tough loss on the road their last time out, the Fresno State Bulldogs look much better today on their home turf. Three quarters in and their offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating the Cal Poly Mustangs 56-10 three quarters in. A victory for the Bulldogs would counteract both their recent loss and Cal Poly's recent win.

What to Know

The Cal Poly Mustangs are staying on the road Saturday to face off against the Fresno State Bulldogs at 10 p.m. ET Sept. 11 at Bulldog Stadium. Cal Poly will be strutting in after a victory while Fresno State will be stumbling in from a loss.

The Mustangs had a touchdown and change to spare in a 28-17 win over the San Diego Toreros last week.

The Bulldogs came within a touchdown against the Oregon Ducks last week, but they wound up with a 31-24 loss. No one had a standout game offensively for Fresno State, but they got two touchdowns from QB Jake Haener.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed 13. K Abraham Montano delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.

Fresno State's defeat took them down to 1-1 while Cal Poly's win pulled them up to 1-0. A win for Fresno State would reverse both their bad luck and Cal Poly's good luck. We'll see if Fresno State manages to pull off that tough task or if the Mustangs keep their momentum going instead.
