Case Western Reserve’s offense had a record-setting day in a 66-33 win at Waynesburg.
The 66 points were the second-most in school history, behind the 70 points scored in a win over Oberlin in 1998.
Case quarterback Drew Saxton threw five touchdown passes and a career-high 433 yards, which ranks No. 3 on the school’s single-game list. It was the fifth time in Saxton’s career he threw five TD passes in a game. It was one short of Willoughby South grad Dan Whalen’s single-game record of six TDs.
Riverside grad Michael Wojkowski recorded his first 100-yard game with six catches for 138 yards and two touchdowns that covered 24 and 59 yards.
Lucas DeCaro had seven catches for 155 yards and a TD, and All-America receiver Colt Morgan added four catches for a 90 yards and a TD.
