FLORIDA STATE VS. JACKSONVILLE STATE FOOTBALL:3 things to know about football game

PREVIEW:Just the Facts: Florida State football vs. Jacksonville State

 7:24 p.m. | New start time announced

After a brief delay, members of the FSU football team began taking the field again around 7:15 p.m. A few minutes later, FSU announced that the game will now start at 8:10 p.m. so long as there are no further delays.

That means a delay of only a few minutes from the scheduled start time of 8 p.m.

6:55 p.m. | Start of game delayed due to severe weather

With pregame warmups underway for some players, severe weather in the area forced all of them to be removed from the field.

No one can take the field again until there has been no lightning observed within the radius of the stadium for a 30-minute period. Once that happens, both teams will need at least 45 minutes to finish warming up.

Unfortunately, this means the FSU game won't be starting on time. Per FSU, the game start time has been postponed until further notice. We'll keep you updated here about any further news with regard to when the game could get underway.
