Through 3 Quarters

The West Virginia Mountaineers are on the board, but we're still waiting on the LIU-Post Sharks to respond. Three quarters in and West Virginia's offense has really been able to impose its will, dominating LIU-Post 59 to nothing three quarters in.

The Mountaineers and the Sharks have certainly played as if they're avenging a loss, because they are. West Virginia just need to hang on one more quarter to get back on their feet.

What to Know

The West Virginia Mountaineers will look to defend their home turf Saturday against the LIU-Post Sharks at 5 p.m. ET.

Last week, the Mountaineers were within a late touchdown of stealing the win, but they took the "L" against the Maryland Terrapins 30-24. QB Jarret Doege had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: despite one touchdown, he threw two interceptions.

Meanwhile,'s it's hard to picture a worse loss than the 48-10 bruising that LIU-Post suffered against the FIU Panthers last Thursday. LIU-Post was down 38-10 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Both teams will surely be fighting tooth and nail to get back into the win column after losses last week. Giving up four turnovers, West Virginia had had trouble holding onto the ball. We'll see if LIU-Post can exploit that vulnerability.
