Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Kevin Newman is not starting in Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Newman will rest against the Nationals after Hoy Park was named Saturday's starting second baseman.
According to Baseball Savant on 423 batted balls this season, Newman has produced a 1.7% barrel rate and a .255 expected average.
