READY FOR WAR! International superstar and serial risk-taker, Jake “The Problem Child” Paul, is once again up against a very big (and very different) challenge in regard to his budding combat sports career when he takes on former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) superstar (and Conor McGregor slayer), Nate Diaz, inside American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, on Sat., Aug. 5, 2023, streaming live on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV). “Paul vs. Diaz” which will also feature multiple-time women’s boxing champion, Amanda Serrano, battling former WBO queenpin, Heather Hardy, for the undisputed Featherweight title in DAZN’s PPV co-main event. Special start time is slated for 8 p.m. ET, with a PPV price tag of $59.99.

Don’t miss a single second of face-punching action!

This is according to a recent report by ESPN’s Mike Coppinger (shown below). It is unknown at this time if Tyson will have any involvement in the actual PPV broadcast, but he will be sitting ringside for the main event.

Per Coppinger, Triller is hoping that Tyson’s attendance will lend a hand in setting up a future trilogy bout with Holyfield. Of course, “Real Deal” will have to defeat Belfort to clear a path for the trilogy bout, but given Holyfield and Tyson’s history inside of the boxing ring it’s a no-brainer matchup assuming everything aligns.

Tyson, 55, made his return to boxing in Nov. 2020 for an exhibition match against fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr. The bout went all eight rounds and it seemed like Tyson did enough to win the contest, but it was ultimately ruled a draw. Tyson has been trying to book his next fight since March, but nothing has materialized.

Maybe a Holyfield win on Saturday will be enough to finally put pen to paper for the trilogy fight.

Mania will deliver LIVE coverage of the FITE pay-per-view (PPV) main card RIGHT HERE, kicking off at 7 p.m. ET.
