Chinese medicine (CM) is a powerful modality for treating dysregulation caused by traumatic stress. Our foundational premise of opposing poles of energy that together support the easy rise and fall of activity and rest are mirrored in the autonomic nervous system’s division into its sympathetic and parasympathetic branches.
