Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans need no introduction to the magical tandem that fell into their laps last season: Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

The two were in perfect harmony yet again during NFL Kickoff against the Dallas Cowboys, with Brady finding Gronk for two touchdowns in a game they needed every score to win.

The second TD marked the 100th end zone connection between the two future Hall of Famers, and they did so on a play that they've learned to run like clockwork.

Via Jon Ledyard of Pewter Report:

“I know, I don’t like to give away that play, that’s my favorite play,” Gronkowski said after the Bucs win. “Tom made a great call. I think I was actually on a route and then he checked me into blocking, then checked me into blocking and releasing. I was like, ‘oh man’. He just sees it all on the field, it’s impressive.”

Tom Brady's surgical analysis of the opposing defense is a huge reason why he's still so effective in his age-44 season. He dictates the Buccaneers offense in a manner that maximizes their strengths, something that's he's already developed with Rob Gronkowski during their dynasty years with the New England Patriots.

“He’s been playing for like 80 years, so he’s seen every defense and every player. He has played with so many and has seen so many fronts too. He saw it, he read it well. It’s a play we have scored a couple [touchdowns] on in our career. No more talking about that play, because I like that play and I don’t like anyone knowing about it.”

There isn't a defensive scheme Tom Brady hasn't faced a few dozen times over. And whenever the opportunity arises, Rob Gronkowski will always be ready to go barreling into touchdown territory off a pass from his longtime QB. Just don't ask him about that play too much.
