When Leicester City’s defensive pair Wesley Fofana and Ricardo Pereira should return to fitness and be ready for selection.

The arrival of a new season in Premier League for the Foxes and rivals means new beginnings and new adventures domestically as well as in European competition.

However, there are certain aspects of the game where nothing can be done. The injury scares from past the season are not yet over and are very much affecting this campaign already.

James Justin and Wesley Fofana are already sidelined with serious injuries for Brendan Rodgers’ side. The former suffered a serious ACL knee injury last season against Brighton in an FA Cup tie, while the latter was rushed to the hospital with a nasty fibula fracture in a pre-friendly tie against Villarreal.

The latest pre-match interview of the gaffer has been encouraging; the Northern Irishman confirmed every other senior player except Justin and Fofana are now training. This is obviously fantastic news as this would see experienced defenders like Jonny Evans, Jannik Vestergaard and Ryan Bertrand  solidifying the back line.

Earlier, at the end of August, the manager gave an update regarding the return of the former Luton Town defender saying this:

"“Hopefully around October time, that’s our hope. He’s [Justin] an incredible professional for a young guy. He’s very focused. He hasn’t had too many down moments, if any, he’s just very focused on getting back. He looks strong. There are still a number of weeks for him to go but once he comes back, that will be a new signing for us because he’s an outstanding player”Reported by Leicester Mercury"

Meanwhile the young French centre-back who is quite active on social media is determined to return as soon as possible. He has been updating the supporters regarding his progress whilst recovering on the sidelines.

Previously, Fofana posted an update on his Instagram handle saying, “Who said the season is over?”, which excited the Blue Army very much.

Now, he has tweeted on his twitter handle implying that he will be back soon after recovering from his fibula fracture.
