Elna is a petite brown tabby female kitty about 1½ years old.

She’s a loving, gentle, shy kitty who adores playing feather-on-a-stick and doing zoomies around the room with the other cats in her foster home. She emits tiny little sweet meows with her humans, and comes running to their outstretched hands for petting.

Elna

She would do best in a home with another young playful cat or kitten. Elna needs some time to warm up to people, but once settled into your home, this loving young girl will be your most loyal companion.

She’s in excellent health, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FIV and FeLV.

To meet Elna, call 541-225-4955, option 1 or visit catrescues.org.

Cornelius is a 4-year-old handsome guinea pig ready for love!

He is an Abyssinian Guinea Pig, which means his fur is short and grows in multiple directions. He weighs about 2 pounds and has soft black and white fur with bright brown eyes.

Although he prefers not to be picked up, he enjoys sitting on a lap being petted. Cornelius would do best in a family with children 10 and older who can respect his space. He must be adopted into an inside-only home.

Cornelius

If you do not have any guinea pig experience but love Cornelius, that’s OK! We can teach you all about the species and provide resources.

If you are interested in adopting some of our wonderful guinea pigs or just want to learn more about guinea pigs as family pets, call Greenhill for resources.

Greenhill Humane Society is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 88530 Green Hill Road in Eugene. For more information, call 541-689-1503 or visit green-hill.org.

Mara and Bailey

Mara and Bailey are a bonded pair of 9-year-old cats who arrived at the shelter after their owner developed severe cat allergies. They must be adopted together.

They are shy but do like attention and pets on their terms. Mara is more outgoing and Bailey is more shy. They have been together their whole life and lived with the same family until they arrived here.

If you'd like to give this pair a home, fill out an application at oregoncoasthumanesociety.org.
