Hair loss is one of the most common yet devastating side effects of receiving chemotherapy for cancer. Even though there are many options for alternative wigs, scarves, and hair pieces, just losing the hair can be traumatic for many people. That’s why many cancer patients take their power back by shaving their heads before their hair can fall out on its own.
In a video, we see a teen son helping his mom do just that. He stands behind her at the bathroom sink, using an electric razor to shave her head. But this young man wasn’t content to simply help his mother with the difficult task; he wanted to show her that he’s going through everything with her and that she’s not alone! So while she isn’t looking, he turns the razor on his own thick head of hair.
