Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Sally Carman has shared the first details about her character Abi Franklin's powerful revenge story coming up in Coronation Street.
Abi was left desperately considering going back to drugs when viewers last saw her, after Corey Brent was wrongly acquitted for Seb's murder even though he did beat Abi's son to death.
Since the innocent Kelly Neelan has been left in prison while Corey now walks free, Abi has no intention of letting her son's killer escape justice for his heinous crime.
Speaking to Digital Spy about Abi's upcoming revenge plot, Sally Carman said: "It's huge, and life-changing and all of those things. But it's like she's being driven by a force that she can't stop. It's slightly out of her hands as well, as she has to do what she's going to do.
"It's ridiculous. It's outrageous, and it's such good fun! I'm on a night shoot tonight and there's stunts galore – it's been so much fun! It's one of those storylines that, as an actor, you just go: 'Oh come on, let's have it!' It's brilliant."
The fallout of the hate crime trial will play an important role in ITV's Super Soap Week in October, which Carman says she's "delighted to be a part of".
"When we were in the studio last week doing the stunts, I was just pinching myself! I was just like: 'How do I get to do this?' I'm really, really happy," she revealed.
"It's funny, in real life things wouldn't automatically go to the lengths that they do sometimes, but that's the beauty of being in a soap, you can just push the boundaries."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
