The Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers have both been linked to plenty of NBA trade rumors this offseason. The Warriors were armed with assets to try and pry their championship window open around their aging core of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

The Warriors are hoping that Thompson can return to form after he has been sidelined for more than two years. He hasn’t appeared in an NBA game since the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. Injuries have derailed his career.

Thompson suffered a torn ACL in the finals, which knocked him out for the 2019-20 season. In November of 2020, he ruptured his Achilles, keeping him out of the 2020-21 season.

Now seemingly healthy, Thompson is looking to get back on the court and help the Warriors win some games.
