Lanier’s varsity football home game scheduled for Friday was called off late Friday morning because of COVID-19 issues with the Longhorns’ opponent, Denmark.
Denmark informed Lanier of the news late Friday morning, leaving no time for a replacement game this week. The Longhorns are actively in search of a replacement for the Denmark game on Oct. 1, when they had a planned bye on the schedule.
