Apple Watch Series 7 Production Issues Have Apparently Been Resolved

A couple of weeks ago, it was reported that production on the Apple Watch Series 7 had run into issues. The good news is that according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, he has told investors in a note that Apple has apparently solved the production issues and that mass production is expected to kick off mid-September.

So what does this mean for customers looking to snag the watch? It was previously reported that the Series 7 could be limited in its availability at launch and we largely expect that to still hold somewhat true. This is because the time it took Apple to fix the production issues did cause a delay, albeit a short one.

This means that with mass production kicking off mid-September which is when the watch will be announced, it also means that volume shipments to stores and retailers will also be later than previously expected. It’s hard to say how badly this could end up affecting customers, but it is possible that certain configurations and options could be more limited than others, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to be announced on the 14th of September, which is next week, so be sure to check back with us then for more updates on the details on the watch, pricing, and its availability.
