MEGAN: IN THE VAN BEHIND ME RIGHT HERE IS KRIS THE CHEETAH WHO HAS GONE VIRAL FOR BEING ADORABLE ON THE INTERNET. BUT EVEN MORE ADORABLE IS HER ANIMAL FRIENDSHIP WITH HER PUPPY COMPANION REMUS. MEGAN: REMUS’ LIFE STARTED OUT A LITTLE ROUGH BUT HIS DISPOSITION IS CHEERFUL AND THIS FRIENDSHIP, SAVED BOTH ANIMALS. >> IT’S A NATURAL BEHAVIOR FOR CHEETAHS TO HAVE SIBLINGS. IF MOM ONLY HAS ONLY ONE CHEETAH THAT LETTER -- THAT LITTER DOESN’T ACTUALLY SURVIVE SO THEY ALWAYS HAVE PLAYMATES AND WE WANT THEM TO PRACTICE THEIR NATURAL BEHAVIOR WE DON’T WANT US TO BE THE PLAYMATE. MEGAN: NOW THIS CAN’T LAST FOREVER, AFTER A COUPLE YEARS THE TWO WILL START TO PART WAYS OWN SPECIES, BUT IN THE MEANTIME WE ARE ALL TOTALLY OBSESSED WITH REMUS AND KR
