Â
At its core, the NCAAÂ Elite Student-Athlete Symposium is a program designed to provide enhanced life skills training for athletes who have been designated as having a strong possibility of continuing their careers professionally. The symposium provides college student-athletes with information to help them make decisions and understand issues as they progress towards their professional careers in the sport.
Â
Topics featured at this year's symposium include athlete brand management/social media, financial literacy, decision-making, protecting eligibility, the agent and financial advisor selection process and more. As part of the program, participants will hear from current and former elite student-athletes, NBA, NBPA, team front office, and NBA G-League representatives and insightful keynote speakers who will share their perspectives on managing the realities of life as a professional athlete and how to avoid common obstacles.
