Kiermaier (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Friday's game against Detroit, batting ninth as the center fielder.
Kiermaier didn't start Wednesday's loss to the Red Sox as a result of hamstring discomfort, but he did enter the game late as a defensive replacement. The issue appears to have subsided, as he's set to roam the Comerica Park outfield Friday.
