Married At First Sight star Melissa Rawson celebrates 24 weeks of pregnancy with a bump update - as she prepares to welcome twins with fiancé Bryce Ruthven

Married At First Sight star Melissa Rawson is celebrating her 24th week of being pregnant with twin babies.

Posting to her Instagram on Friday, the 31-year-old reflected on how her body had changed as she hit this stage of her pregnancy.

'24 weeks... The belly has certainly popped in the last few weeks,' she wrote in her caption alongside a new baby bump photo. 

Melissa revealed her little ones have been kicking in her tummy. 

'Every now and again, our two little babes give me a subtle jab, reminding me that their time to join us is rapidly getting closer.'

Melissa also shared a selfie of herself in a mask on her Instagram Stories as she waited for her ultrasound.

'I never realised how many doctor, obstetrician, ultrasound, blood test, mental health appts [appointments] are required when having babies!' she wrote in her caption. 

Melissa's post comes a week after her fiancé Bryce Ruthven proudly showed off a picture of her expanding baby bump.

'How cute is this bump starting to look!' the doting dad-to-be captioned the image on September 1.

The couple, who are expecting their twins in December, smiled for the photo in a courtyard, with Melissa wearing high-cut black pants and a charcoal top.

Last month, Melissa revealed how Bryce was preparing to take on his new responsibilities as a father of two.

At the time, she told The Herald Sun: 'Bryce has taken over the housewife role.' 

'He does all the cooking and cleaning and taking care of our new pup. He is going to be a great dad. I can see it already,' she added.

She also credited the former radio presenter with helping her embrace the idea of starting a family.  

'Parenthood was never anything I had considered before until I went on the show,' she said, referring to her controversial stint on Married At First Sight. 

Melissa explained she'd never thought children were on the cards, nor that she'd ever meet the right man with whom to start a family.  

The couple recently announced via Instagram they were expecting two boys. 

Uploading footage from their at-home gender reveal party, Bryce wrote: 'So excited to meet our two babies! Bring on December.'  

Wedding plans have also been a talking point for the reality TV lovebirds, who are looking to tie the knot towards the end of 2022.
