San Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (ankle) is in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Kyle Hendricks and the Chicago Cubs.
Yastrzemski left Wednesday's game against the Colorado Rockies with a bruised right ankle, but he's apparently feeling better following Thursday's off day. He is manning center field and hitting eighth for Friday's matinee at Wrigley.
