Parise agreed to terms on a contract with the Islanders on Friday, Jon Lane of NHL.com reports.

Parise joins New York after nine seasons in Minnesota in which he appeared in 558 games and racked up 199 goals and 201 assists. Including his prior seven years in New Jersey, the 37-year-old winger will be playing in his 17th NHL campaign after logging more than 100 games, plus another 105 postseason contests.
