We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about dozens of shows including Money Heist, Billions, Legends of Tomorrow and Lucifer!
1 | Given what happened in the Money Heist midseason finale, are you wondering if the narrator will change for Season 5B?
2 | Evil fans, what was the most worrying aspect of Kristen’s behavior in this past Sunday’s episode?
3 | How did Legends of Tomorrow‘s Ava possibly extrapolate this binocular view to there being “thousands” of Zagaron pods? (Hundreds, mayyybe.) And did you find Constantine and Zari’s goodbye scene surprisingly lackluster for a couple who were in love?
4 | On Billions, Chuck’s girlfriend Cat broke up with him because her portrayer, Julianna Margulies, got a new gig on The Morning Show. That said, didn’t Chuck’s explanation about their split feel more yada, yada, yada than necessary?
5 | For those (few) who watched The Republic of Sarah, are you satisfied with how the series ended? Or do you wish The CW had renewed it for another season?
6 | Can Stargirl‘s Hunter Sansone raise his voice even half an octave, so that Cameron doesn’t sound like a 30-year-old teenager? Speaking of Cameron, are you glad that he told Courtney that the mural is of his dad, since frankly it looks nothing like Jordan (yet)?
7 | On Queen Sugar, why didn’t Nova’s neighbors call her to let her know she left her front door open? St. Joseph’s parish is better than that, fam.
8 | How did John Mulaney’s interview on Late Night With Seth Meyers make you feel, making light as he continuously did of his difficult year? Was it wrong to laugh at the jokes that landed? Because they were really funny.
9 | TVLine fan Lauren Z. asks, “What does Cody Rigsby’s Dancing With the Stars casting mean for the Peloton instructor’s Pop rides?”
10 | Zoey’s Playlist fans, which holiday songs do you want to hear in the Christmas wrap-up movie?
11 | If Riverdale‘s Josie is a global pop superstar now, why would they have her perform her big reunion concert in the tiny speakeasy underneath Pop’s? And how did that concert help save Riverdale, exactly? Lastly, could Toni’s embedded ad for these baby jeans have been any more blatant?
12 | Much as we love when Good Trouble‘s Davia sings, did the fantasy song number in the finale kinda not work? And are you Team Dennis or Team Matt?
13 | Should The Circle keep or ditch its new identity theft/cloning twist? (At the very least, don’t you wish it’d been granted to a more interesting duo than Ava and Chanel?)
14 | What are the odds that Eureka O’Hara would appear in an episode of American Horror Story mere weeks after competing in the “Rumerican Horror Story” challenge on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars?
15 | As TVLine reader Geo points out: Should the Dexter revival be concerned that Riverdale (as well as Big Sky, we will add) already beat them to the whole “truck driver serial killer” idea?
16 | After their rather ribald exchange, are you curious to see Titans‘ Blackfire (ahem) turn Superboy into a man?
17 | Is The Cookout the best alliance in Big Brother history?
18 | The DirectTV ad that envisions Serena Williams as a sentient tennis ball machine-smashing Wonder Woman — can someone order that to series?
19 | After Ted Lasso’s heartbreaking reveal this Friday, how long do you expect it’ll be before the Apple TV+ comedy introduces us to Ted’s mom? And who provided more comfort this week: Roy Kent or Blue’s Clues‘ Steve?
20 | Did the Lucifer final season premiere kinda confirm what we as kids always knew — that Hell is playing ping-pong against a lousy opponent?
Hit the comments with your answers — and any other Qs you care to share!
15 — I think the “truck driver serial killer” was also a Criminal Minds episode about 5 years ago
There was also the horror movie Joyride that came out in 2001
How did Roarke maintain a pristine white jumpsuit after getting out of a tires-deep Jeep?
Those magical boots… after all, it is Fantasy Island.
9. or what if the Peloton people get some kind of inspiration and do some kind of ballroom workout routine? I know DWTS used to put out workout dvd’s at the height of the shows popularity
The did; we still have them
3. Everything about this season was lackluster.
5. Heck yes we wanted another season all those characters are so Rich. Could have watched for many seasons. BUT the series finale wasn’t too bad. Most people were in a good place and Greylock was recognized as a country. And Danny was sticking around to get to know Josh. It is only a matter of tIme he and Corrine would get back together since Adam is only sharing the house and they are no longer a couple.
6. Ya he kept talking to the mural like it was his dad, but looked nothing like it. Yet.
11. I get coming back to Riverdale for “inspiration” but really want to record in the music room at the run down underfunded high school? And ya big reunion wouldn’t amount to much if it is only the same people that come there every year. This episode was a dud.
17 Most loyal with their goal achieved but not best. But boring season, and a shame things didn’t go sideways sooner to get more drama. The next couple of weeks might be interesting.
3. Entire season was lacking, poor writing, poor villain and as always too many characters to actually do justice to.
3. Everything about this season was lackluster
Re Dexter: His very first enemy (bro-nemy?) was nicknamed The Ice Truck Killer.
Though I think the ITK was that dude who kept his victims in a refrigerator truck, whereas this latest killer is apparently a long-haul trucker
10. I want to hear “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” with a big chorus!🌲😍
5. Sarah… why I’m mad is CW pulled the show from their App before I got to watch it .What happened?
10. Zoe… Would love to see Jane Levy and Skylar Astin sing “All I Want For Christmas Is You” to each other.
Republic of Sarah is still on the CW site, in fact, all 13 episodes of the season are available, a lot more than the standard 5 episodes. It’s just been moved to the “Also On the CW” section where shows that have finished for the season are moved to, you have to scroll down.
Thanks Peter. Looks like I’ll get to see it after all!
18. When Serena smashed the ball into McEnroe they should’ve had Maitreyi (the girl who plays Devi on Never Have I Ever) do a funny voiceover to get even with him.
2. Kristen’s behavior is as alarming as it is amusing. Is she having a good old fashion breakdown or is evil behind it. I hope we answers.
The self mutilation with the crucifix was the most disturbing for me. Yeah… she burned herself on the stove… did she really think her husband would buy that?
I thought I had missed an episode since she suddenly had scars.
3. I never bought into the Constantine and Zari 2.0 relationship, so not lacking, just preposterous. The fall of Constantine was hard to watch. This is the Arrowverse show that needed to be cancelled.
5. I’m ok with the ending but wished Sarah got another term in office.
10. Anything just glad she’s back
18. I would watch
5. Yeah… Republic of Sarah deserved renewal over of shows CW renewed.
11. Riverdale rarely makes any sense. I thought it was cool that they set up Josie and the Pussycats mysteries, like the old cartoon. But, Alan always had the hots for Josie, not Val. Still, a fun way to bring Josie back.
18. Love that Amazon Serena ad!
Mining comedy from pain is what comedians do. If Richard Pryor can joke about setting himself on fire, I think Mulaney’s just fine.
19. Roy Kent. *swoon*
5- I’ve really enjoyed this show this summer; bummed it’s gone and definitely didn’t feel wrapped up enough to be satisfying
12- Team Dennis is the only option! (Watching this week’s episode I kept wondering why they’re dragging this out, there’s no other logical choice to make)
5. I haven’t watched the final two episodes of Republic of Sarah yet but I have seen the other 11 and I am not disappointed it got canceled. I don’t think the writers had a clear handle on what they wanted the show to be and I felt like the entire season was basically them throwing out ideas to see what would work. I accepted the premise of the show but could not accept the implausible ways characters were written and story arcs introduced – Colleen, who was written more like she was lovestruck 17-years-old than the married adult woman with a husband, kid and postgraduate education and career as a teacher. The great Megan Fellows, exiled to off-screen rehab early in the run. The various interpersonal conflicts and relationships that were set up and then dropped as if the writers lost interest in developing them (Sarah v Mayor Whitmore, Sarah v Liz Fernsby, Sarah v Lydon, Alexis and AJ, and on and on). Just a mess of a show with no clear identity.
You’ve got to be kidding me!
The best ALLIANCE maybe the best RIGGED YEAR!
I’m hoping CBS let’s the “Cookout” fight it out fairly without anymore rigging!!!!!
Constantine HAD to go, his welcome was well worn out.
I thought he and Zari 2.0 were ok, but they are no Zari 1.0 and Nate…or Amaya and Nate….
I hope they stop introducing new useless characters(spooner grew on me a little) next season and find Sara her supersuit and more time travel and fight scenes!
8 – From first hand experience, when you’re trying to keep your head above water after drowning in depression or substance abuse, a sense of humor is needed to help you move forward. Wallowing in self pity only hurts you, everyone around you, and pushes you further down the rabbit hole. Been there, done that. So for me, his joking about his difficult year was healthy and eye opening. Good for him and I pray for his continued recovery.
3. Apparently being an assassin allows you to be bad at math. And Zari 2.0 never worked so who cares?
.
6. Maybe he’s just another a good artist and everyone is humoring him because his dad is dead? I’ve heard worse super villain motivations.
.
8. I think the word you’re looking for is creepy. And sad. And doomed to failure.
.
16 See above.
.
18. Maybe not creepy. But weird.
Is the Cookout the best alliance in BB history? In my book that’s a no. I’m sure Tiff wants that HOH back where she ditched Claire instead of X or Ky . That is a big quarter of a million dollar mistake there.
