Riz Ahmed Protects His Kids From an Alien Threat in Trailer for the Sci-Fi Film ENCOUNTER

Amazon has released a teaser trailer for an upcoming sci-fi thriller titled Encounter, which comes from director Michael Pearce (Beast). The film stars Riz Ahmed, who is looking to protect his two kids from an alien threat.

The movie also stars Octavia Spencer, Rory Cochrane, Lucian-River Chauhan, and Aditya Geddada and this is the synopsis that was released for the movie:

A decorated Marine (Riz Ahmed) goes on a rescue mission to save his two young sons from an unhuman threat. As their journey takes them in increasingly dangerous directions, the boys will need to leave their childhoods behind.

There's really not much revealed in the vague teaser trailer, but it looks like it could tell a thrilling sci-fi story that will feature some interesting twists and turns in the story.

Amazon will release Encounter in select US theaters on December 3rd, 2021, then it will hit Prime Video starting December 10th, 2021.
