Sept. 10 (UPI) -- J Balvin took the stage on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
The 36-year-old Columbian singer performed and announced a new world tour during Thursday's episode of the NBC late-night show.
Balvin performed his song "In Da Getto" with Skrillex. The track appears on Balvin's new album, José, which also features the singles "Otra Noche sin Ti" with Khalid, "Qué Más Pues?" with María Becerra, "Otro Fili" with Jay Wheeler, "Que Locura" and "Perra" with Tokischa.
Balvin appeared on The Tonight Show following the José release. In the interview, Balvin described José as a very personal album.
"It's my, like, my own playlist of what I would love to hear from my genre, you know?" he said. "Like, it's just so personal, it's just like -- like how I would love to listen from another audience, but I'm the one who's singing."
Balvin also confirmed plans for a new North American tour.
The José tour begins April 19, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas, and concludes June 4 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
José marks Balvin's first album since Colores, released in March 2020.
