Video: UFC champ makes a splash on ‘Ninja Warrior’ (literally)

Reigning UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz was the latest MMA fighter to attempt to conquer the “Ninja Warrior” obstacle course. And I don’t want to say the former KSW slugger was slow and unsteady, but Blachowicz looked like that guy from “Pitfall” trying to cross a lake by way of sunken alligator heads.

To be fair, Blachowicz isn’t built for speed, he’s built for power.

He also got farther than UFC strawweight Felice Herrig, who took a bath not once, but twice on the American version of the Sasuke spinoff. Hopefully Blachowicz can last longer than two minutes when he returns to defend his title against Glover Teixeira in the UFC 267 headliner on Oct. 30 on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi.

“See what happens when I don’t have my lucky bracelet with me?” Blachowicz wrote on social media, referring to his ghoulish pre-fight ritual of wearing a bracelet made of suicide rope. Hopefully he takes it off before deciding to “fist” someone.
