Chelsea versus Aston Villa is coming up this Saturday and it is great to finally resume Premier League football after two weeks of international break. The Blues who have started the campaign in a quite strong and determined manner will face Villa, who have just managed to get one win in their opening three games. While Chelsea seems like the clear favorites to win, it would not be wise to write off the Lions completely, especially since they won the last tie between the two of them.

These three players could make a strong impact for Chelsea in the upcoming game against Aston Villa.

The Claret and Blues have some strong names this summer, Emiliano Buendia and Leon Bailey, and they will be looking to continue their good start. On the other hand, the London side might be missing some of their better players due to the international break, red-card, and injuries. However, the Blues have such a great squad depth that it will hardly matter to them. Still, it will give a chance to some of the players who were not making the first team regularly, and this will be their chance to impress Thomas Tuchel. Thus, without any further ado, here are the three players who could make a difference in the game against Villa.

3. Trevoh Chalobah

We could see Trevoh Chalobah in action on Saturday as Reece James has to miss the game due to his red card. The centerback who can also play as a defensive midfielder already showed off his tremendous skills on the first game week against Crystal Palace. He played alongside Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, and not only kept a clean sheet but also managed to score a dream goal on his Premier League debut.

Chalobah is very mature for his age and knows when to play the game from the back, and when to just clear his lines. He is just 22-years of age and is very passionate about his club. He grew up at Chelsea and he wants to become a regular starter for the club. With the absence of James, Cesar Azipilicueta will most probably be shifted to the right-back position while Chalobah will once again play as a right-center-back. A good performance here could push him up the pecking order, and he could even challenge the experienced Thiago Silva for game time. Anyhow, Chalobah will be a really important player in the upcoming game and he will have to show that he is ready for the big league.
