CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Browns open the season on Sunday against the defending AFC champion Chiefs. And when we talk about the Browns and Week 1, we have to talk about the streak.
The Browns have not won a Week 1 game since 2004, and that’s their only Week 1 win since 1994. There was a tie against the Steelers in 2018, but it’s still not a win.
To break the streak this season, the Browns will need to go into Arrowhead Stadium and defeat the team that knocked them from the playoffs last season.
Clearly, there’s plenty of motivation on both sides. The Browns want revenge for the playoffs. The Chiefs want to put the Super Bowl loss behind them in front of their fans.
Which team will win Sunday’s game? Check out the poll below and let us know what you think.
