The 2nd Annual Sunflower Craft Market that was rained out last weekend has been rescheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 11.

Many of the vendors were able to come back this weekend and there have been a few new vendors added this week, organizers said. Come on out for a day of crafts, food, sunflowers and a whole lot of fun.

The Craft Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the sunflower fields will remain open until 8 p.m.

The Kansas Maze's second planting of sunflowers have begun to bloom and they are extending their season through at least Sunday. They will re-evaluate at that time regarding any extended opening dates for next week.  Look to the Kansas Maze Sunflower Festival website, www.kansasmaze.com, and their Kansas Maze Facebook page for those announcements.

The $7 admission includes the craft fair, food vendors and access to the sunflower fields and photo props, and one free sunflower and play area. Popular photo props have been the  '57 yellow Chevy parked out front and a purple vintage couch, as well as the many colorful benches and wood fences in the sunflower field.
