Former Bruin David Backes Retires

Former Boston Bruins forward David Backes has announced his retirement.

Backes signed a one day contract with the Saint Louis Blues, where he spent his first ten years in the NHL before signing in Boston in free agency.

Boston traded Backes to Anaheim in 2020, where he played out his final few seasons.
