Youtube star turned boxer Jake Paul is certainly considering unbeaten Tommy Fury as his next opponent.

Both Paul and Fury were in action last month in Cleveland, in separate fights, as part of a Showtime pay-per-view card.

Fury (7-0, 4 KOs), who was making his United States debut and looking to build up a future fight with Paul, had a less than impressive performance in winning a four round decision over combat sports veteran Anthony Taylor.

In the main event, Paul (4-0, 3 KOs) went the distance for the first time in winning an eight round split decision over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.

After the show had concluded, Paul and Fury were involved in a heated verbal confrontation backstage.

Paul is now considering his options for fight number five - and Fury, the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is one of those options.

"I think Tommy Fury is at the top of that list. He's skilled, he's undefeated, and he's a real boxer," Paul told the Full Send podcast.

"He has like four million followers on Instagram which is good engagement. He has the fans from his relationship show."

Paul is not as enthusiastic when it comes to a grudge match against Dillon Danis, who is Conor McGregor's jiujitsu training partner.

"It all starts with the numbers, like would the fight sell a lot? Would people actually care? I could go and fight the infamous jiujitsu guy who doesn’t shut the f--- up on social media, but it's a hard sell," Paul said.

"This guy just beat a UFC hall of fame legendary striker, we're not going to put him up against a jiujitsu guy in a boxing match. So after each fight, we go back to the drawing board we're like 'what makes the most sense' - can they actually sell pay-per-views? Can we sell this fight as like, 'This is a tough fight for Jake'."
